Lightroom/ACR: Lens profile for Canon PowerShot G15

I have a Canon PowerShot G15. The camera is properly reported in the Metadata in the Library module. However; in the Develop Module, under the Lens Correction Profile Tab with the "Enable Profile Correction" checked; and the Lens Profile Make set to Canon; the Model and Profile dropdown boxes report as a Canon PowerShot G10 without reporting the G15 lens profile.

If I choose Default or Auto, there is no lens profile reported. As soon as I choose Canon Make; all reverts to the G10 information. The lens on the G15 is definitely different that the G10 lens.

Am I missing something here?

The subject of the thread should include the phrase "lens profile" in it, somewhere, because the G15 raw format is supported by Adobe; however, there are no Adobe lens profiles for the Powershot G15.

Adobe usually only makes profiles for Canon and Nikon DSLRs, although there are a few others, including the G10, but not the G15.

Looking in the third party profiles available via the Adobe Lens Profile Downloader, there are also none for the G15, there, so if you want to have a lens profile for your camera you'll have to make one, yourself with the Adobe Lens Profile Creator.

I just got a G15 and before buying checked to make sure LR supported it. I have LR 4.4. Now I discovered after importing my first G15 raw files that there is no lens profile. :-(
