Lightroom: Why are images at 300DPI a different size when viewing on the web?
Hey guys, i got an issue with the size of the pictures that i edit... After the editing, the picture has to be 1281w x 1920h and reso 300. I change the size but when i upload to the website, the size is different. I tried the same thing with camera raw and lightroom. Same results... Any suggestion?

What are you currently doing, and what's the result you're getting ?

" when i upload to the website, the size is different" - This makes me think it's changing at the website level.
I'm just guessing, but it might have something to do with the resolution being 300dpi while standard web images are at 72dpi.

Max Johnson, i open the exported images in Photoshop before the uploading and the size is exactly what i want. Then i send them (via we transfer) to my client and she cannot upload them because of the 'wrong' size.
This is the first time i face something like this.

Max, my certain problem is the pixel dimensions, not the file size.
The pictures are only for the website. Not to be printed.
If you guys have time, please, check http://shopfabrika.com/
Click on 'mens' or 'womens' and see the pictures with the grey backround. This is the size and the resolution i need.
Also, i need to change the homepage but i need the size and the resolution with the same picture that is already on the homepage.
Any idea?
Guys, thank you so much!!!!!

Tell us exactly what size she told you she needs, and exactly what settings you're choosing in the Export dialog. Then also exactly what error message she's getting when she tries to upload. We're going in circles without this information. This is a communication issue, not a software one.

All of the photos on the Fabrika site I checked are 1281x1921 not 1920, this 1 pixel error may cause Lightroom to use a different aspect ratio than you need/want.
Also found one at 1366x2048.
Also the correct dimensions may be actually 1280x1920 but there is a 'hidden' 1x1 pixel image in the web photo frame that is used to prevent right clicking and saving the images thereby messing up your pixel dimensions/aspect ratio requirements.
So I would get the client to double check those image size requirements.

I also, did every single picture from develop module (crop ratio).
But for some reason, after the last update, it works... THANK GOD!!!
Bruce, thanks for spending time and check the site.
I didn't even know that the frame may cause a problem... Maybe that ''hidden'' pixel was the problem. I actually told to my client to talk with her web developers.
But finally, everything's fine!
Guys thank you very much!!!!!!!!!
