Lightroom mobile (iOS): Option for HEIC Capture

I have LR Mobile (v. 4.3.2) on my iPhone Xs Max. I want to capture HEIC with the LR Mobile camera app. I have HEIC capture enabled on the phone. However, the only choice I get in the LR Mobile app is DNG or Jpeg, but no HEIC. Has this not been enabled yet in the LR Mobile app? Thanks.

That's correct, Bruce. I don't know if it ever will be or not - perhaps HEIC is proprietary technology, unlike JPEG and DNG.

Thanks. I think it is just a matter of programming not completed yet by Adobe. There are third-party camera apps (Pro Cam 6 for instance) that allow capture in HEIC. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing some step with the LR Mobile camera app.

YW, Bruce. I haven't compared quality of JPEGs and HEIC files, but assuming HEIC is in the ballpark, I'd like to see capture in that format so that I can also capture the depth map for use with Range Mask.

There's already a tech preview for depth map appearing in the auto/pro/hdr pop-up in LR's camera when it's on DNG.
