But when you're talking about Adobe, it is oh so true...

One of the design goals of the subscription model was to get rid of piracy. If you pull this kind of thing, people will find a way to crack the license verification and quit paying. Just sayin.

OMFG, please stop drinking the kool-aid.  One does not need a subscription model to avoid software priacy.  It's called trusted certificates and online logging.  I've got dozens of apps on my Mac which use this method.  A subscription model is based on the business model of drug dealers...pure and simple.

Let's see if we can get to the bottom of this. When you installed the Apps on Saturday, did you open each and allow it to connect to the internet or was the first time you opened them on Sunday.

It would be helpful to know step-by-step how you installed and activated each product in question. 

Hi Trevor, we did some investigation with Lloyd and discovered and issue with his network clock jumping all around which invalidated the license token.

I am shooting in a remote location. Most of the time there is NOT Internet connection. I can work with Photoshop, Audition, Illustrator or InDesign without issues. With Lightroom I need to connect every two days online to verify as CC Member. It suppose I can work for a month without a connection. Sometimes I am in a hurry and I can't work. What's wrong with Lightroom?

Perhaps the moneybags at Adobe never got the memo regarding the fact that there are still places on the Earth where there is no internet connection...and that these places are not coincidently some of the most photogenic locales in existence.

Or it's simply pure greed.  God stone the crows if a user was able to have Lightroom for free for 48 hours.  Adobe might be forced into insolvency.
