Lightroom CC 2015.6 / 6.6: Can't read DNG files from Fuji X-E2 anymore

Just installed the new Lightroom CC 2015.6 / 6.6 update and i have a really strange issue. All my files are in DNG format. Everything works fine except the files from my Fuji X-E2. Lightroom and Photoshop can't read these anymore! The files get's a black exclamation mark next to them. See the screenshot.
All files from the other Fuji X-series cameras works just fine. It's only X-E2 files that doesn't.
The files work just fine with any other software and i tried them on a different computer which has the previous version of lightroom CC and there they work just fine!
Is there a way to make a roll-back to previous version?

If you would like to post one of the offending files, I would be happy to take a look at it.

I am unable to import the file you sent. It shows as damaged. Right now, I am sourcing a test file or two for comparison and will get back to you.

Thank you for the reply. Yes that's exactly what happens to me too. You can import the file without a problem with the previous version of LR or any other software.

I will disable the download link now if it's ok?

Unfortunately I don't own the X-E2 any more so I can't try to import a new non DNG File from the camera.

I have the file you sent on my desktop so you can disable the link.

You might try opening your older version of Lightroom and exporting this file as a DNG and then seeing if the newer version can open it. That would tell us something.

Thank you Rikk!  Hoping a for quick fix. Is there a way to make a roll-back to last version until this is fixed? I have a upcoming exhibition and need to work on some of the X-E2 files.

I am having the same problem with my X-E2 files. How can I roll back to the previous version of LR?

We're looking into this issue.

As a workaround, you can download the Lightroom CC 2015/6.0 version from https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/lightroom-downloads.html, install that and then download and update to the particular dot release (e.g. CC 2015.5.1/6.5.1) that you want. Detailed instructions here: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/roll-back-to-prior-update.html

Hi, I rolled back to the previous version of LR. However, can you tell us when we can expect a fix? Thanks!

Adobe doesn't answer the "when" question, usually, but before the regularly-scheduled release for new cameras, just to fix bugs, I expect.

Same here with LR, Bridge>PS>ACR.

Rolled back LR to CC 2015.5.1. That was fairly easy.
Now the task is to roll back Bridge, PS and ACR.
I'm going to try ACR first as I think that is all that got updated in both Bridge and PS by the latest update.

I know one thing now. I won't be converting any more RAW file formats to DNG ever again.

This appears to only affect Fuji E X2 cameras where a raw file was converted to a DNG.  A fix is in the works.

Will Adobe mention that this issue has been fixed when it announces its next LR CC update (and PS CC)? (I've had to roll back both apps, plus Adobe Camera Raw, to previous versions to resolve this issue and don't want to have to go through this again until I'm assured problem has been solved.) Thanks.

Hi, I just want to add my name in the list of experiencing the same problem. It would be great to have the fix as soon as possible. Thanks and good luck getting it out soon.

I'm having the same problem with Nikon D750 files in ACR, Bridge and LR. I already rolled back Bridge to an earlier version because of the dual monitor problem, but now it doesn't read the raw files either. And of course tonight a new client called and wants me to take a look at his raw files. What camera? Fuji XT1 and XT2.... Adobe, this is a nightmare.

What is your software version for PS/LR/Bridge. Is it possible you have rolled back to a point before support for the specific camera?

The issue reported for the current thread affect the Fuji X-E2 camera only. If you're reporting issues for other camera models, please start a new thread. Thanks.

The official response at the top of this thread is your best workaround at the moment.

Hi Rikk,
I am experiencing this problem in photoshop cc. Do you think rolling back and installing LR CC 201576.0 will enable me to use photoshop?

Rolling back Lightroom wouldn't help, banu nair. Photoshop doesn't interact with Lightroom in that way. You would have to roll back Adobe Camera Raw (as in roll back "Photoshop" )in order to access the DNGs created from the Fuji E X2 from inside of Photoshop.
