Lightoom/Camera Raw: Interactive Gamut Masking Tool

I think it would be really cool if Adobe could implement a tool like this. It's based off the Gamut Masking theory presented by painter James Gurney. It would be an amazing tool for color correcting/color grading images, video, etc.

What other program is using that functionality?

None, the app in the video was made by a research group as part of their research/experiment.

3DLUTCreator can do some things in the same realm of color transforms but not exactly the same as this "Gamut Masking" technique.

Can't be done something similar with 'Edit / Adjustement': Hue & Saturation, Photo Filter, Channel Mixer, HDR Toning, Replace Color; What would be the closest to that?

No. Closest thing would be building LUTs

If you watch the video you will see how it works.  You draw a "Gamut Mask" to a 2D Color Wheel and it maps the colors to a palette that fits within that mask.
