Crop Tool Rotation

With the latest ACR, the crop tool overlay can no longer be rotated unless you've cropped off part of the image - The rotation icon won't appear when mouse is held just above the image. Therefore, to simply rotate a slightly crooked photo, I have to: Add a small crop overlay. Rotate. expand the crop overlay to the edges of the photo.. Before, you simply rotate and the overlay shrinks as much as is needed.

I've reset ACR's preferences to no avail. Let me know if you need any additional info..

Thank you,
Benjamin

I get the same results on a Mac running El Capitan. I hit A for the Straighten tool pretty much always, so I hadn't noticed, but I do see what you're seeing, fwiw.

Thank you for the confirmation. Yeah, I do use the Straighten tool frequently as well. Although some images require manual rotation..
