Can anyone help me ?
I got my new camera 10 months ago - proper SLR with big RAW files - beyond my old PC. So I bought a new PC, and Lightrooms. I copied all my old archive (carefully sorted) onto my BT Cloud and want to load the new pix there, then have a decent photoeditor sit on top of the BTCloud to edit and tweak what I store remotely. I am completely baffled by Lightrooms (which I was told was intuitive and straightforward) and am fast approaching terminating my contract. Can anyone help me ?

Unless things have changed recently, Lightroom (LR) needs direct access to the files, so whether or not BT Cloud allows it, probably doesn't...
As for intuitive, that is a relative term. I found that LR had a steep early learing curve, then became much easier as I learned the basics.
There are lots of 'LR Beginner" resources on-line. I'd suggest you hold off actually importing your images until you understand how LR imports & manages your files, then you can make an informed decision on how you wish to manage your files.
Keep in mind that once you start editing images in LR, it is very difficult and painful to migrate to another RAW editing program - all RAW editors are very propriatory and do not play well with one another.

As for learning LR, the best way to learn is YouTube & plenty of patience
