Camera Raw/DNG Converter: Keep the original raw file timestamp

Please fix DNG Converter (11.2.1.159) so that it can KEEP original RAW file timestamp, at least as an option!!
Seems I am forced to use the converter since my Perpetual Lightroom v6 refuses to import my Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS100 RW2 files, and there are no updates for v6. I just really hate having the timestamps on my images trashed.

As a workaround you could choose to embed the original RAW file to preserve it

Can you tell us what "timestamp" you are talking about? There are various and sundry date-time metadata properties associated with files by the file system as well as recorded by cameras and stored inside files. The Exif DateTimeOriginal in the Raw file should preserved in the derived DNG already. If you can tell us how this problem actually manifests itself in Lightroom that might help as well, as there is more than one "timestamp" tracked and they mean different things.

Thanks

Sorry for the slow response, I was away.
The good news is that I finally found a way to update Lightroom 6 to v6.14, even though LR refused to find any updates, I finally found the correct links online.  Unfortunately, I read that v6.14 will be the very last update for perpetual LR.  :-(

Used the Download Photoshop Lightroom link, downloaded Lightroom 6 Windows (64 bit), and simply installed it right over the top of my existing Lightroom - worked like a charm!  Now LR can recognize & work with my RW2 files and does not change the timestamp; i.e., the Date seen in the Windows Explorer when looking at the contents of a directory.
I am happy now!  As long as I avoid any more new cameras...   LOL
