Camera Raw: What happened to support for Hasselblad 3f-Files!?

Which version of Camera Raw are you using where the profiles disappeared?

Also, what platform are you on? (just in case that makes a difference)

Hi! I use Win 7 (64bit) on a PC, ACR Release Candidate 6.6 (6.5 didn't recognize the 3f-Files either) and an Imacon Precision ii Scanner (Imacon is Hasselblad now). The 3f-(or fff) Files are the Raw Files that come out of the Imacon-Scanners (or the newer Hasselblad X1 or X5-Scanners) as well as the Hasselblad Digibacks.

ACR 6.5 and later should read 3FR files from the Hasselblad digital backs, as well as FFF files exported from Phocus software.

I don't use Phocus. I use Hasselblads Flexcolor-Software. Why can't ACR open these 3f-Files straight into Photoshop (like it did until two months ago)???

It does work (if the 3F-plugin is installed as it had to be before).
You need to open the file from Photoshop and then (after selecting your file!) change the format-dropdown in the open file dialog from "camera raw" (which comes up automatically when you select a 3F file) to "imacon 3f".

I had the same problem and I can confirm it is working now on CS5.1 with ACR6.6.

Just remove the ACR file from the Library... (keep it safe somewhere like the Desktop) and put it back when you need it! It all works fine  for spotting image in CC, and saving it back (3F file).
