Camera Raw: Raw files won't open in Photoshop after latest Windows 10 update
I installed the latest Windows 10 update and now the raw (.arw) files from my Sony A7III and the raw files from my Mavic 2 Pro (.dng) won't open. Photoshop just tells me it can't open the file because of a program error. I updated Photoshop and updated my graphics card driver (It's a GeForce GTX 1060).
I also downloaded and installed the lastest camera raw plugin from Adobe.
The raw files open in Lightroom...just not Photoshop. Any idea why this is happening?

A copy of the error log "PSErrorLog.txt" might help. Its location on your system is as follows:
Mac: Users/[user name]/Library/Preferences/Adobe Photoshop CC 2019 Settings/PSErrorLog.txt

(I reinstalled PS and the camera raw plugin. I’m unsure if any of those actions helped but if the below steps don’t work, perhaps try that as well.)
- Go to Edit > Preferences > Camera Raw...
- On the General tab, select “purge cache” from the Camera Raw Cache section.
- once I hit OK, a welcome to camera raw screen popped up.
- import Raw file and get back to work XD
