Camera Raw: My Photo's are appearing horribly distorted

My photo's are opening really distorted in Camera Raw, and I can't find any sort of way to fix it. I updated photoshop and the problem persists but I am on a deadline and need to get my photos to print ASAP, but I can't even edit them? Can someone tell me what is going on and whether it's a problem I can fix myself or whether it's a problem with photoshop?

The below picture is a screenshot of my issue:

Make sure your graphics card driver is up to date: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/acr-gpu-faq.html

If your graphics card driver is up-to-date and you're still having trouble, try disabling "Use Graphics Processor" in the Camera Raw Preferences (Preferences > Camera Raw).

It probably worth mentioning that there's another "Use Graphics Processor" setting under Preferences > Performance.   Be sure that you're disabling the one under Camera Raw settings and not Performance settings.

Several options to look at: graphics card failing, failing hard drive with corrupted image files would be my first two guesses.

Can you put the image files on a portable external drive and try to look at them on a second computer.  That result will begin the process of figuring out the cause

You could also check under preferences as to whether the video card is being used.  If yes, try turning it off.  If no, try turning it on.
