Camera Raw: moving the ACR toolbar

@james_hess_4809339 Thanks. I’ve already moved the film strip to the left as it encroached on the image size when along the bottom. 
I am just finding it awkward to have tools (crop etc) down the far right of the editing panel. 

I don't have any connections with Adobe. I don't want to seem like I don't care, but there really isn't anything you or anyone else can do but what you have done, and that is to express your opinion. The tools have been placed where Adobe has decided to place them. I don't know if you are aware, but if you right-click on one of the panel headings such as Basic you can choose single panel mode, and that will cause all panels except the one you are currently using to collapse. Whether or not that is of help to you, I don't know. I'm not trying to sell you on the new Camera Raw interface. I check in on this forum occasionally, but I don't use Camera Raw that much. I primarily use Lightroom Classic so I understand the new interface. But I still prefer LrC. You can still revert to a previous version of Camera Raw if you think that would be better for you. But if you choose that option then be sure to turn off automatic updates because you won't be able to update Photoshop either because that will automatically update Camera Raw.

Thanks again for your help, I am not finding the edit panels themselves a problem (well not happy with some of the changes within them but that's another subject) 
It is merely the repositioning of the toolbar to the far right that I find awkward, it makes no sense to me to have tools like the crop and graduation tool so far away from the image you are working on.

I do still run ACR 12 on my machine as well, so when I need to get work done quickly I use the old version. However I realise that Adobe will never go back to the old simple version, so am trying to use the new ACR a much as possible to get used to it.  

Afraid I have never been a fan of Lightroom, I had to use it all the time in my last job because they used it for their DAMS system. I abandoned it for bridge and ACR when I started working for myself, as the LR workflow just took to long, and time is money :-)
When Adobe went over to the subscription model and bundled LR with it. I thought I'd give LR another try (even paid for a course to bring me up to speed with the new version) but still found it slowed my workflow by at least 50%. So it sits there paid for, but unloved and unused.

Hey Derek, how are you successfully running both versions of the ACR on your machine? That would be a handy trick for when I actually have a deadline.
