Camera Raw: Does not apply lens correction profiles when opening Lightroom edited files in Photoshop
If I import a raw file in Lightroom and apply a lens profile and then click on "Edit in Photoshop CC 2018" Photoshop opens the image, but does not apply the lens profile.
This is reproducable with images, I opend in photoshop correctly before.
Rolling back to Adobe Camera Raw 10.2 (from 10.2.1) restored the correct behaviour.

My workflow is to do edits in LR and always apply profile corrections. On the rare occasion that I need PS, I use it after all LR edits. I've compared some PS-edited images with the LR edited originals. If these PS edits were done before the machine upgrade, the profile corrections appear in both (i.e., images match, except for the additional PS edits). Now, though, images edited in PS have the LR edits except for the profile corrections, even if all I do is simply save in PS.

Sigma has updated the firmware on some of its lenses (e.g., 150-600C). In doing so, they've changed the lens code. This means that LR doesn't recognize the type of lens and applies no profile corrections. However, you can manually set the profile on the LR profile correction panel and it will apply the corrections. If you then edit in Photoshop, the lens corrections are passed through.
Similarly, if you apply profile corrections for a "known" lens then manually change to a different lens and change back, the profile corrections will survive an edit in PS.
There is clearly a bug here as the behaviour is so consistent and started happening (again) sometime recently. I wonder why more people aren't seeing it. I also wonder why Adobe hasn't acknowledged it here or asked for more info.
