Camera Raw: Can't select more than one image

I just started shoot RAW astrophoto images and tried using Camera Raw with CS6. I downloaded the recommended version of Camera Raw and things work fine on single images but when I click on File > Open As and try to select multiple images so that I can use the Synchronize function to apply changes to multiple images, there is no way for me to select more than one image (holding the shift or control key down does not perform its normal function).  Am I missing a step?

I no longer have CS6 installed but I can tell you how it works in PS CC
Click File>Open instead of File>Open As....
Select Camera Raw as the file type and then Shift/CTRL options should work.

Something else you might try is to select these photos in Bridge, then use Cmd/Ctrl-R to open them all in Bridge. This has the advantage of being able to visually select your files. You could also Right-click over the selection in Bridge and choose Open in Camera Raw from the c-s menu, or in the main File menu, choose that command. It's really easier to use Bridge than it is to mess about with the Finder/Explorer.

Opening in Bridge worked.  Still cannot select multiple images with Shift+click, so I guess I will continue with bridge. Thanks for the replies.

Hi J, it looks like you have a CC membership. Have you tried it in PS CC?
