Camera Raw ad DNG: Faulty lens correction profile - Tamron 17-50mm XR Di II

The lens correction profile for the Tamron SP AF 17-50mm F/2.8 XR Di II LD Aspherical (IF) works quite well at 17mm and 50mm but it's pretty bad in between, for example around 32mm: a straight line close to the top or the bottom of the image will be made actually even more curvy by the correction profile at 32mm. I can provide RAW files if interested. Any chance this will be corrected? I just read through the Lens Correction Profile Creation documentation and it seems I would have to make 324 pictures to create a good, precise, custom lens correction profile.... (not to mention finding a way to print a good checkerboard).

Thank you for reporting the issue, Kaz - would you be willing to share an image or two taken at the 32MM range for our Engineer to review?

Sure, here is one. Applying the TAMRON SP AF 17-50mm F/2.8 XR DiII A16E correction profile causes horizon to become curvier.
