Camera Raw 12.3: Brush settings don't save from image to image

Until this silly GUI change for the June 2020 release of Camera Raw, I could set the brush settings (sharpness/exposure/contrast/highlights/etc/etc) ----- use that brush and then go to the next image with that exact same brush. Now moving to the next image zero's out every brush setting, meaning I have to rebuild the brush settings all over again for that next image. What am I missing; if that's a new thing, it's utterly absurd.

Scroll to the bottom of the local corrections panel and uncheck "Reset sliders automatically."

Herein lies the problem with the new interface!
having so much of the panel on the right taken up with function titles, often essential information is not visible at bottom of screen. This was not a problem when icons were used.

Is there any chance Max that users will get a chose to go back to the classic UI??

They have said they will not be returning to the classic UI, but that "improvements" are on the way, we can but wait!

This is my signature.  There are many like it, but this one is mine.
