Camara Raw 12.2: Custom raw defaults are too complicated

Hello everyone. I have a problem with the new Camara Raw 12.2. This is part of a conversation I had with a person of the Photoshop team:
I just installed the 12.2 Raw Camera and the problem I now find is that it does not save the settings as defaults. I just adjust the focus and lens parameters I give it to default settings, it does, but when I fly open a new photo, the parameters have disappeared and I have to redo the adjustments. Are there any tricks in this new version for them to be saved for good?

I open a raw image, I'm going to lens checker selected the camera and save it as default for the entire folder. In the raw 12.1 camera version, it saved the parameters perfectly, in the version of the Raw Camera 12.2, saves it but when you reopen a new file, you must again adjust the parameters in lens correction and so on.

In version 12.1 this did it automatically, it kept the data, just had to open the file and you're done. it seems to me that now this is complicated. I would suggest that in a new update of the Raw Camera, this possibility would exist again.

So, this is the problem. The technician apologized for the inconvenience and that's it. I wanted to share this experience with the community, as I consider the new version of Camara Raw 12.2, either to have some bug, or for me instead of improving, has complicated my workflow.

A cordial greeting  Laura.

Yes this is a total PIA!
I want all my images to open with a standard set of corrections (minor) - this was simple now it's a nightmare!

In the end I found the simplest solution, back to the version of Camara Raw 12. 1. Everything went back to normal. What a mess they did with version 12.2. Inconceivable. What a way to complicate the workflow. I hope that with a new update, rationality will return.

I can cope with changes, what is totally unacceptable is how hard it has become to find the correct instructions, all updates (minor or major) should have release notes with links to proper instructions.
However - not at all sure we needed this improvement!
Should have said thanks Rick for pointer on the Kost blog!

I just spent most of the morning trying to figure this out. I am VERY angry. I so very much hate it when software changes and just hides the most common feature under a 15 step process? Why don't you just create a button 'multiple cameras' and leave the rest of us alone? Evil is not when people try to hurt others on purpose, it's when they hurt others because they're stupid and then insist they're not.
