Adobe DNG Profile Editor Issue - Incompatible With All Profiles Created After Q3 2014

I'm trying to correct the Adobe Standard camera profile for the Canon G9 X Mark II camera. When the DNG Profile Editor Saturation slider in the Color Matrices panel is set to anything other than 0 the image becomes overly saturated. Even setting the Saturation slider to -1 becomes overly saturated, which is of course opposite of what is expected.

The Canon G9 X Mark II DNG file was created using Lightroom CC 2015.12, which supports this camera model. I'm using the latest DNG Profile Editor v1.0.0.46 available here:

Digital Negative (DNG), Adobe DNG Converter | Adobe Photoshop CC

A Canon G9 X Mark II CR2 raw test image file can be downloaded here:

Digital Cameras, Canon G9X II Digital Camera Test Image

Any and all assistance is appreciated!

All Saturation Sliders at 0

Red Saturation Set to -1

After further testing it appears the Adobe DNG Profile Editor is incompatible with all camera profiles created for all camera models introduced since Q3 of 2014. I discovered that Adobe made changes to the Adobe Standard profile sometime around Q3 2014:

https://forums.adobe.com/message/9095782#9095782

It appears something changed with the new camera profiles that now makes them incompatible with Adobe DNG Profile Editor. This includes the Camera named profiles (Camera Standard, Camera Faithful, etc.). I checked Canon EOS 5DS, 5d MKIV, 1DX MKII and Nikon D500, D750, and D810 models and they all exhibit the same incompatibility with the ADOBE DNG Profile Editor.

I'm going to change the title of this post to reflect this discovery.

Is there a public link available to download an updated DNG profile Editor that works with Canon 5d Mark iv files?

Adobe Engineering was contacted on 1/01/2018 and is looking into posting a new version that works with both the old and new camera profiles.
