Thumbnails in Adobe Bridge too small

Compared to Bridge v8 in Adobe Bridge v9 the new spaceholders between thumbnails are bigger which leads to thumbnails being smaller, which is annoying since that what Bridge mainly is used for: To show thumbnails for quicker image browsing.

Also, please bring some of the smart search features from Lightroom to Bridge (auto-tagging, face recognition, ...)

Yes the "spaceholders" are pretty annoying and useless.  Tried to find an option to remove them, unsuccessfully.

This has been submitted to the developers as a bug, along with numerous other UI issues around star rating, labels, metadata display, stacks, video playback, scripting, and more.

The new UI has some serious issues and unfortunately we are stuck with it.

2 years on the best bridge version is still 2018. You could get nice sized thumbs with very little wasted space. I do a final sort and spot similar images with the thumbnails like this. 2018 needed improvement (to get them like this is a bit of a fiddle) but the new bridge went backwards.

Bridge 2018 has a LOT of bugs that have been fixed in later versions. Performance is still not great but its much improved in 2020. And yes my bugs about the UI are still open.

Agree about the wasted space in later versions too.

This is my signature.  There are many like it, but this one is mine.
