Photoshop/Bridge: Support for Image Processor Pro script
I have come to rely to a great degree on Doctor Brown's Image Processor Pro to export final retouching quickly, to client specs and with the best possible quality. Image Processor lacks the necessary features to be functional but is native to Photoshop.More robust exporting features are desperately needed natively and even more so now as It appears that support for Doctor Brown's extension has been dropped. I’ve not heard of any significant updates to Image Processor Pro and it no longer installs properly into CC 2015.Features needed:-Ability to export in one dialog simultaneously:RGB Tiff, CMYK Tiff, JPG srgb at 50% size. -Ability to create Layered PSD with full color profile selection and applied actions.-Exporting to subfolders with naming choice.-Independent file names and color profiles.-Images sizes in pixels or percentages, with interpolation options.-Output sharpening options-Bit depth checkbox-Flatten checkbox. (this has never worked properly in IPP.)-Independent ( per file type ) Action support. Mainly used for converting bit depth from 8bit to 16bit and back to 8bit to preserve smooth gradations. These features would save entire industries hundreds of hours.Thanks!-Stephan

A set of Scripts for Image Processor Pro has been posted here;
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ps-sc...
When I opened the zip, the Read-Me very clearly stated:
>>> Installing the Image Processor Pro Script
Please note this script can only be used with Adobe Photoshop CS5/CS6/CC/CC2014
>>>
So ignoring that advice, I followed the rest of the instructions to the letter.
Did it work?
No!
(Which was hardly surprising as the Read-me explicitly said that it would not!)
A bit more experimentation and I found that using direct navigation from Ps/File/Scripts/Browse to
Users Library/App Support/Ps CC 2015/ Presets/Scripts
opened Image Processor Pro in Ps CC 2015 — but I still could not launch it from Bridge CC.
There was one more Script in the unpacked IPP folder for which no instructions had been given: “RunIPP.jsx”
On a hunch, I placed copies of RunIPP.jsx and also of Image Processor Pro.jsx directly into my
Applications/Ps CC 2015/Presets/Scripts.
Following a further re-launch of both Bridge Cc and Ps CC 2015, I seem to have got Image Processor Pro working perfectly from Bridge!
So the scripts will work with Ps CC 2015 and Bridge CC on a Mac running under OSX 10.10.3 but xbytor's Instructions do need to be updated!
I have no idea if this will work on Windows machines though.

There are still many exporting features that have not been implemented and these features are needed natively in Photoshop. I would argue for these to be considered MISSION CRITICAL FEATURES for all users and not relegated to a extension.

C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Bridege CC\Startup Scripts
In Bridge, the IPP is found under the Photoshop submenu item.

IPP continues to be one of the most important features of Photoshop (and it appears to be the work of a dedicated individual, not an Adobe project?).
Many, many thanks to the author!

New export functionalities ... My favorite, and still most used, export functionality was the Image Processor Pro script that used to be available from Russell Brown's site. Able to select multiple images in Bridge or already open in PS, the export in multiple formats and sizes. Great for creating full size and thumbnail images for my web site, all in a few clicks. Would like to see something as useful in the future in Photoshop.

Please add a function to make transparent tiff's with the image processor. I can do this through an other plugin Dr Browns Services. Also adding recipes would be nice, to export different jpeg versions for example.
Thx
