Lightroom CC running Slow on New Mac Pro
Just upgrade my Lightroom 5 to Lightroom CC. The reason so I could read Fuji XT2 RAW files. When I ran a job I shot on my Canon 5D Mark lll I placed the CF card upload in both Lightroom 5 and Lightroom CC. All things equal, new catalog everything was purged, same Camera Raw Casche Setting, Lightroom CC runs much much slower than my Lightroom 5 and it takes double the time to convert my files to DNG. I am so upset because I deal with a lot of images every week due to my work flow. Why is Lightroom CC runing so slow. All the sliders there is a delay before I see a result and sometimes I get the beach ball spinning wheel. I have a 2013 Mac Pro. The one that looks like a trash can with a 1TB SSD internal and plenty of internal memory and I ran both jobs internal not on an external hard drive. Seems like not all my computer coars are being taken advantage of with Lightroom CC like my Lightroom 5. I called Adobe Tech Support 4 times and I speak to someone in India who has no clue why it runs slower. It is so so frustrating. They try to tell me how to make it run faster by using a new catalog and purging the Camera Raw setting and I tell them I already have done everything possible. Now I have to look at alternative programs. What did Adobe do to ruin Lightroom. Adobe sure messed things up big time. For my work I need to use the Fuji XT2 certain times. I also know Adobe has problems reading X-Trans files which my Fuji camera produces.
