importing images with "Get Photos from Camera"

I use Bridge - ACR - and Photoshop CC every day.
At the moment I import images with "Image Capture" (Mac) as I can see what I'm importing and direct each "job" to its correct folder.
However I then have to re-name the images and add a copyright metadata template.
Could you please add a renaming feature such as in Lightroom
"Custom Name - Original File Number
Names the photos using a custom name, followed by the numeric portion of the photos’ original filenames."
OR a string substitution so that I can go from IMG_1234 to "job no." 5678_1234 preserving the original camera counter!
This would eliminate 2 steps in try current workflow

Bridge's batch rename can do this after import using the Apple importer, so do you mean to add this to the Adobe importer? Apologies if this was clearly stated and I missed it!

Hi Stephen,
Yes I use the string substitution in Bridge and also "A Better Finder Rename" however I want to streamline this process a little, so to be able to do this in one "go" would be great.
Of all the renaming "options" in "Get Photos" this seems to be the only one not available!
I can also add my choice of metadata template here too!
