Camera Raw 12.3.0.493 (PS CC 2020 21.2) Update - Cannot set Label

Prior to upgrade to PS CC 2020 21.2, could set labels in ACR with file selected and pressing command (on Mac) and -6, -7, -8, etc. Now pressing that key combination has no action.

See:

https://blogs.adobe.com/jkost/2020/06...

Click and hold the Filmstrip icon to show filenames, ratings and color labels as well as choose the orientation of the filmstrip (or, use the shortcut Command + Shift + F (Mac) | Control + Shift + F (Win) to toggle the orientation).

You don't need the control/command key any more - just the number.   You will find this sometimes conflicts when you have a slider selected at the same time..

Lovely. Which now doesn't work like Bridge does.

Well that's a Bridge issue and again, NOT a bug.
But now (again) you DO know, thanks to a few here, how to set color labels, again, you are most welcome.

Well, Andrew, that just sounds like finger pointing. Before 12.3, it worked like Bridge, where more than one of us open ACR from. Now it doesn't. Bridge didn't change. ACR did.

It's not pointing fingers! I'm telling you how this stuff works. Now you know how this works. Not happy? Revert to the previous version.
Want to complain?

The only thing complaining does is convince other people that you are not in control.” Anonymous

NOW in ACR, current version, you ARE in control. You are welcome.

Its an OPTION in bridge to have to press control with the number  - personally I turned it off.  I always prefer the option to have it my way.  Customisation is the key to speedy workflow.   They would prefer we use Lightroom I think.
