Bridge: Rotate actual digital image

The image rotation commands in Adobe Bridge should actually rotate the image digitally, not just virtually in Bridge view. It would also be great if Bridge could perform this action on multiple selected images.

Once you rotate an image in Bridge, it will be rotated as soon as you open it in Photoshop.

I am able to rotate multiple images, even on CS3... How do you proceed?

That's weird. I use CS4 and CS5 on my two machines at work and rotating in Bridge is as effective as rotating images in image preview on Windows XP (it doesn't ACTUALLY rotate the image, it just tells the browser to preview the image rotated). Though I'm definitely able to rotate multiple images this way (I added that part to ensure it was understood that that's what I would be doing and wanted the efficiency).
