Bridge: Restore Export Panel In Bridge

Why was the Export Panel dropped from Bridge CC? The Export to Disk is an incredible time saving routine, especially for those of us who find the Light Room catalog structure underwhelming, and instead use Photoshop and Bridge.

The Bridge CC Tools > Photoshop > Image Processor is a work around, but is now where near as clean, flexible, and fast.

Why was it dropped from Bridge CC?

Here is a screen shot from Bridge CS6:

Yes, please come back Export Module, we miss you! This was an excellent addition to Bridge and even though it was a bit unpolished I can't see any reason to remove it.

I just found out the Export function is missing and it was pretty much the only thing I liked about Bridge. Without it I don't even need Bridge! Please put it back.

Has anyone tried the latest 2014 updates to CC any news on the return of the export panel? We are still installing Bridge CS6 in our university computer labs until this is fixed.

I somehow doubt Adobe will bring back the export panel, unless we can garner some more interest for this idea. Spread it among your colleagues and cross your fingers!

Yeah, it's pretty hard :). But one can always hope, just keep spreading the word about this and maybe... just maybe we can have our Export panel back!

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled
Timeline for Export Panel restoration to Bridge CC.

The Export Panel is missing in Adobe Bridge CC.

This is surely a programming error, as removing such a useful feature could not possibly be a design decision. Lightroom and Image Processor are not equivalent solutions.

Please advise as to when a corrected version of Bridge will be available with the restored functionality.

Hey Adobe.. why has the export-panel been removed in the first place? ... It's so damn handy and one can re-install it ... but why removing it? ... it should be back! would make our lives so much easier! thank you, Adobe!

One can only re-install the "Output Panel", not the "Export Panel". If there was simply a download of the "Export Panel" available, we wouldn't need to be talking about this.

How about it Adobe?

Hey, guys!

I Just Remembered, in the past I had a problem with the export panel, and the only thing that fixed the issue was to update Java, if anybody has it still installed (on CS6) maybe you can extract the javascript file and place it in the right directory in CC?, I tried but didn't manage to locate the file (unless its embedded in the main application code).
anyway I tried in this main folder (mac):
/Users/admin/Library/Application Support/Adobe
and if it will help someone the export presets sit in this directory (again on a mac):
/Users/admin/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CS6/Export Presets

I Believe we are eater to small of a group or adobe ran in to some copyright issues so the cant formally fix the issue, its up to us to fix the problem...

another option i see is if someone can involve a java programer perhaps they can help us.

Adobe, if you don't replace the "EXPORT Panel" (not the output module) in Bridge CC and not explain to your customers why it cant be done, you will be following the footsteps of the following two once successful software giants.

I have been getting notifications of others attempting to get this question resolved with no reply from Adobe. Why?

Before I found out about the the missing export panel, I considered upgrading from CS6 to CC. But this is a serious dealbreaker for me!

Refering to Lightroom as replacement of this feature is a joke. Imho this is alarming, because it indicates that Adobe knows and/or cares little about the actual workflow of their customers.
