Bridge Downloader puts RAW files in a hidden folder - any ideas?
I use the Adobe Photo downloader built in to Bridge to download folders to my computers. I initially had this issue with my older machine - a Win 7 64 bit computer running 16G of RAM, with photos stored on a connected 10TB NAS drive. When I download the images, RAW files get placed in a hidden folder called .apddownload - all the files are there, but I have to cut and move them out of this folder for Bridge to see them. OK, so I thought that this might be an issue with this particular machine, but now I'm having the same problem on a 32G Windows 10 computer, where the files are stored on an 8TB MyBook. The files are there, but it's annoying to have to move them everytime I download.Interestingly, JPEG files download normally. It's happened with RAW files from Sony, Olympus, Panasonic and Fuji.Any ideas on what might have cuased this?

Are you saying you work in the Advanced dialog, tell it where to put the files, how to name them, etc., and it just ignores you and sends them to some hidden folder? I'm on a Mac, not Windows, and use Nikon, but I've never heard of this one from anyone. Not recognizing the device, yes, but overriding your destination? That's weird.
If you're designating the destination, it sounds more like some setting in your OS setup than something coming from Bridge, because raw or JPEG really shouldn't matter. I shoot raw + JPEG without a problem. Really weird is it's taking JPEGs off the card and finding the right drive, but not raw files.
Hopefully someone from the Bridge team will see this (they're sometimes here), or Staff here might call their attention to it.
