Bridge: Deleting an image in full screen mode in bridge makes entire Mac crash

deleting an image in full screen mode in bridge sometimes makes MAC crash. I see black screen with some broken pixels and then it goes back to login (forced closing)

Hi,

Can you please let us know if you are using the latest version of Adobe Bridge 8.0.1.282
Also is there any crash report generated for Adobe Bridge. If yes, please submit it for us to investigate.

You can also share the crash report with abseth@adobe.com

sorry, I have been putting it off for a while because of workload and Easter holidays. I don't get a crash report. In fact, the app does not crash, it makes MAC OS crash. the app never closes itself, it only causes the screen to go black and return to login page, also if this happens while PS is open with an unsaved files, unsaved files will be recovered when logging in again. I did all latest updates just yesterday and the problem still persists. there is no window saying 'send bug report' at all after this happens.

A system hang or freeze requiring a computer restart usually means a low level failure such as a driver (bad video card driver, etc), failing hardware (hard disk, video card, etc.) or damaged OS installation. In this case, I'd suspect the driver for the graphics card is wonky. What version of macOS are you on? What graphics card is in it?

One way to confirm this is to open Bridge's Preferences, select the Advanced tab, and check "Use Software Rendering" to avoid accessing the driver.
