Bridge: Add a "find and replace" function for quick caption corrections.

Add a "find and replace" function to Bridge so that if you spot a spelling mistake in 200 image captions they don't need to be altered one by one.

My ISP is closing all the free Web Spaces so my site will no longer exist.
This script can be downloaded from:-

I don't know if it works with any format but I guess it will work as long as there is metadata in the file. Can you see metadata in the Bridge?

Thank you for your reply. I tried and it does work only on jpg. My EPS/JPG has same meta and I wish to find/replace on both version. But it changed just JPG format...

No, not just jpg. I can change any RAW files too because it contains metadata.
Most likely your problem is that those field names are not the same as in jpg or RAW files. Maybe author can fix it for you.

Not all EPS and AI files support metadata, Photoshop EPS files have no problem but non Photoshop files do have  a problem, same for AI files.

Does anyone know how to remove the brackets from multiple image file names such as HG-ADAMSON-0321-0007 (1).psd when shrinking them to jpegs? There are always around x 5 images which I have to rename manually after the batch rename command.

Thanks Brian :-)  So Find is easy, but do I use the Replace Metadata option in Tools or is there another command for Replace?

The Find and replace function has to be downloaded and installed first. The link is above (if still available).
