Do members of the Adobe communities here see or receive Spam?

I'm a member of the TechSmith get satisfaction community and have been for several years. We get hammered with Spam from time to time.
I'm wondering if you have experienced the same issues here?

And if not, do you know why?

Thanks, Regards,Joe

We sign into this forum.  Spam can't do that.

Thanks for your answer, However.
We sign into the GetSatisfaction  hosted websites for TechSmith as well.
Heres 2 posts that reflect the problems we have, and TechSmith tells us it's out of their control  to fix the problem.

Try to define what you think "spam" is to you please.  I am not seeing what is spam.  To me spam is an unsolicited email asking for someone to buy something that isn't warranted or wanted.   I am seeing a room with lots of links and a chat room conversation.  It's not what you described for your forum.

As a member of the forums. I receive e-mails to let me know if a question has been answered.
If theres feedback or further questions from a person I responded to. And I respond a lot.

These Spammers post links to Spam in the form of a question or gibberish or strictly post what their trying to sell.
This lands in my-email because I follow my posts. How else can one reasonably help others?

I know I can opt out  of receiving e-mails. That's not a proper solution to me.

It seems you would experience the same problems if you receive e-mail notifications.
So perhaps thats a better way of asking?

This has been going on for years, theres some every week. It varies in intensity and theres even periods where's theres none. More often than not, I'm seeing them.

Regards,Joe

I will NOT help you.  You just sent your spam to us in our forum.  This is not an Adobe problem keep your spam out of here.  Your last email sent to me gave me a virus on top of it.  Stay away from me!  I cannot help you.  It's NOT a real problem.  You are making it up to send us viruses.  GO AWAY PLEASE.

That's nonsense and I'm calling you out on it. Don't call my inquiry Spam without proving it.
Because it's simply not true.

I am a MCSE engineer and I do not lie.  It was a virus that wanted to launch itself onto the web immediately.  Your links have it.  I won't talk to you anymore after this.  This is it.  b~bye.

I just want to ensure other members that I am not a Spammer.

I don't have a clue why Steve Lehman would accuse me of sending him a virus. How could I possibly do that?

I don't have his e-mail address and the only mail he should be receiving would be sent by this forum provider GetSatisfaction.

I find his personal attack offensive and unwarranted. My screen shot of my account with Get Satisfaction is not faked. Just visit the TechSmith forums and you will see it's true.I won't post a harmless link to the sites because I might get accused of being up to no good.

The above links are links to discussions of Spam in the get satisfaction forum. Where members report spam and forum questions link.To that spam/if you receive e-mails from getsatisfaction.  Those links have the Spam removed by TechSmith and don't lead to anything nefarious, just a thread where someone has attempted to solicit members and who's post generated a e-mail to other members.

I apologize if you have become concerned over the attack on my character.  I'm curious if you experience the same problems. Because TechSmiths puts the blame on GetSatisfaction. It seems to me if that's the case, you should be having the same issues.
That's the whole point to my inquiry.

I would appreciate any feedback from someone else .

Regards,not a spammer of virus generator,Joe

An attack on ME is NOT going to justify YOU.  I said you had a virus on your link.  It went to Get Satisfaction immediately without clicking on the link and it had an other link behind it too.  For that reason I think there is a virus.  THAT is ALL I will say.  STOP MAKING ME THE ATTACKER YOU MORON!  YOU are attacking ME!   STOP getting me suck into your petty little problems.  AND your problem does NOT belong in OUR forum.  GET LOST!  As I have written this email to you.  Y our emails are t referred to my email in my PC like your forum does.  And while aIl write this I) have received two more viruses.  They are trying to hack my system with remote access.  GET LOST!

Post a screen shot of that e-mail please. I assure you I had nothing to do with it. You've accused me, and you haven't proven your point. If you can, I'd love to see it.

If you were to click on  a link in this thread.

As no ones reported Spam in a week, it's all been removed to date. So therefore the link I posted is not Spam or dangerous in any way that I can foresee.

You should be greeted with this should you click any of the links contained within,

The other link I posted hasn't had a new response posted in at least 5 months. It's only people gripping about the Spam.

Perhaps a moderator needs to delete this thread and some of those posting.

Thanks so much, I agree.
To the best of my knowledge.
I haven't responded in a manner that's hasn't fallen within the guidelines of this forums
etiquette and conduct parameters.
If I have I apologize.
I've been a member of Get Satisfaction since 2013. Own Photoshop Elements, Lightroom and  use Adobe's CC suite.
I have as much a right to be here as anyone else. But if this is an indication of how a newcomer may be greeted. I'll stick strictly to the Adobe sponsored forums.

Deleting most of the content seems warranted. I was simply trying to establish if it/Spam was  an issue here.If not, try to astatine why and pass my findings on to TechSmith.

Sorry for any problems my inquiry has generated. }:>(
