Photoshop.com: How do I share my photos with the public? (I want to be able to share with anyone at anytime)
How do I share my photos with the public. I want to be able to share with anyone at anytime. I don't want to have to log onto your site and do the "share" thing by addding each and everyone's e-mail address. I've checked the "share with Photoshop.com", but I don't know exactly what that does for me, if anything. It certainly doesn't meet my needs. I don't have this problem with my Windows Live Skydrive page. I simple check share with public, or something like that, and anyone with the link to my page can see my photos.Thank you.

Hello William,
When you select the "share with Photoshop.com" option in the Express Organizer the images show up on your photoshop.com gallery for the public to see. They will need the link of course - which is also your personal URL you set up with you created your account: .photoshop.com. If you select the Me menu < My gallery on Photoshop.com you will see all your albums. Click the "public preview" link in the upper left to see what visitors to your page will see.
Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Since I don't (and wont) use either twitter nor Facebook, is photoshop.com worthless to me?
I can't find a way (i.e., link) for someone to access my gallery. Do I have to give them my login info? If so, why have it password protected?

Gasp!! Yes, I am one of the few remaining individuals on the planet that doesn't have either a Facebook account or Twitter account. I sort of feel like one of the last humans on earth during a zombie apocalypse! Haha! JK.
Really, tho...maybe I'm just blind but I have not seen how I can share an album of pictures without having to click on the Facebook or Twitter logo. I did try to follow the suggestions that said "use your vanity URL" which I entered into another browser...but when I got to my page it said I hadn't shared any albums. I set the album for "viewing only if the person has a link." Apparently I'm using the wrong link?
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I’m
confident
Photoshop.com can act as both a public gallery and as personal backup.
Each Album has personal security settings.
If you just want friends that you send a link to view your images, make sure the Album Permissions are set to Shared.
If you send your friends to your personal URL and no Albums appear, that means that you do not have any Albums with the "Also share on Photoshop.com" permission enabled.
You can also share your Albums via email. The Facebook and Twitter share buttons are more for those who visit your page than for you as the Gallery administrator. -

I'm still having problems with the "share" issue. I can't find where I "get" a personal URL (the one you said you set up when you create your account: .photoshop.com.) Any more help available?

Your personal URL is based on the user name you chose, which among other places is displayed in your Account Settings. If you have signed in here to read messages via the web page, then click the link "Welcome, Your-name"
As far as getting to your gallery, you can find it at either:
your-user-name.photoshop.com or http://www.photoshop.com/users/your-u...
When you are logged in, and viewing your own gallery, you see both albums that are shared, and ones that are not. Visitors to your gallery only see the albums you've chosen to share publicly with the world ("public"), but not the albums you've elected to share with specific people via email link ("shared"). -

I need to know how people can see the site I am creating on photoshop.com because a friend just told me that she was not allowed to enter the galleries I am working on.....

Can someone help me. I want to post a link on my facebook page to the images I have made and stored in "My Library - Adobe Photoshop Express Organizer" under the "All Photos and Videos" tab, so anybody can view them (like an online portfolio). How do I do this? Right now I do not have any photos in any Albums. Do I have to add the photos to an Album even tho they are in the All Photos tab?

Still learning, but to share the total gallery it is http://photoshop.com/users/my name. But when I click on the albums the url is that plus I assume the numbers relating to the album. Should I just copy and paste the long url in the address bar?

HI Ileen, to obtain URLs for your shared albums, it probably better to click the 'Share' button to get a precise link.
