Photoshop: GIF animation wont play at the right speed

Are there any PHOTOSHOP CS5 experts out there? I SWEAR, I'm about to go insane over here! I've been trying to make GIF video animations for almost A YEAR and no matter WHAT I do, my animation will NOT move at the proper speed. Somebody please help...I don't know what to do anymore. My animations all move extremely slow but every other GIF I've saved from other places that other peiple have made all move the right speeds. I don't understand this. All of my system configurations are fine....for both my computer AND Photoshop. At this point, I'm beyond lost.

They won't even move at the right speed in PHOTOSHOP itself unless I have the Animation (Timeline) tab selected instead of the Animation (Frames) tab....but even THEN, it moves too FAST.

Help, please? :-(

(this is really killin' me!)

I know how to make animations, that's not the problem. The problem is...why is

What do you have your frame delay set to? (click the little pop-up to change the frame delay)

It's always best to preview the speed of the animations by exporting using Save For Web and viewing the GIF file in a browser.

Preview of GIF animations in Photoshop is an approximation. Even in browsers, the speed is different with different browsers and different OSes and different speed processors.
