I'm on CS5.5, my question is:
Is there a way to move the outer glove with the cur sursor just like we do with inner shadow while the effect window is open? Thanks

Photoshop: Is there a way to move the outer glow with the cursor like Inner Shadow?

1No. Not currently. It only works for items that can change position or angle. What would you expect to change if you manipulate outer glow on the canvas? -

I wish I could. Depending on the light source sometime I have to manipulate the glow in order to get it work for me. I create new layer from that effect, but it's harder when I have multiple effects. Please, consider that on you next upgrade if you could. Thanks for the reply

I understand, It's just annoying to create a separate layer off of the glow in order to move it. That is why I suggested to fix it if it is not too much of a hassle.

You can achieve what you want with Drop Shadow. Just change the blending/color to match the glow. Only shadows effects are movable.
