Photoshop Express: not displaying camera photos stored on SD card
Photoshop Express on my Motorola Atrix, doesn't display any images from the phone's camera. It displays a message saying "No images found on your phone. take some pictures with your camera phone an they'll show up here." I've taken lots of photos, and none show up. I even reformatted the SD card, hoping that was the issue. Any ideas what else I might try?

3Also, inside the Photoshop Express app settings, un-check (disable) the setting "Show camera photos only in Phone view" This will allow the app to read photos stored on the SD cards of most Android phones including the Atrix. -
Photoshop Express reads your image data from the internal storage, not the SD card. Open the Camera app, hit the Menu button (on the left, 4 squares) and choose settings from the pop-up menu. Scroll down to Storage Location and select "Internal phone storage". Now, when you take photos, they will be stored on the internal memory of the phone, from which Photoshop Express will work with them.

That worked. Thanks.
Sure wish there was an option to use images on my SD card, it is larger than the phone's internal storage. I'd like to request that feature be added. -

Thanks for the tips. Yes it all works now.
Not necessarily the most intuitive setting options. Is this problem common, just on certain phones, or just me? -

Having been a photoshop user for quite a time I downloaded Express to my phone and Xoom. My problem is that it only 'sees' the folder where the camera images are held- am I missing something?

Cannot browse for photos with Photoshop Express on Android 4.0. Photos I download from a text message go to /sdcard/download and can't be found by the application. The only pictures that I can edit are ones that I have taken myself.

Did all of the above from Brett and Charlie. HTC Incredible running android 2.2. My camera's default is to save to a DCIM folder, and PS Exp is not showing any files from that folder. How can I resolve this besides manually moving images from the DCIM folder to the My Images folder?

Many Android phones come with internal storage, and may not have an included SD card. You can add a microSD card if necessary.
The built-in storage in Androids doesn’t appear as a microSD card for applications. Therefore, any application that requires an SD card for storage sometimes have compatibility problems.
Technically speaking, the internal storage on the phone is mounted at /emmc, and microSD cards show up normally at /sdcard. As with most Android applications, the Photoshop Express application looks for images at /sdcard instead of /emmc. Therefore, it is unable to find any images.
----
If you aren't able to change the location where your camera saves photos, then hopefully it's not too cumbersome for you to manually move the images to a location that the app can read.
I'll ensure an issue is logged so the developers to investigate possible solutions in a future version of the app.-
i also have an HTC Incredible. If you can, please cast another complaint for this issue. Thanks and looking fwd to using photoshop express someday...

I enjoyed using Photoshop Express on my old (and first version of...) Droid, and had no problems with the app pulling up my phone's gallery of images.
Bought the new Motorola G4 earlier this week, downloaded the app...and though "My Gallery" shows I have quite a few photos, the app when activated says I have no images on the phone. How do I access my phone's images so as to edit them?
thanks...

Adobe Photoshop express for Android. It will not see any photos outside the Android default save location for the camera.
Please add the option to find photos by browsing for them on the device.
