happy I’m happy as a clam, but I know how to define my own metadata viewing presets - do you?

Lightroom: Metadata viewing presets (tagsets) - make user definable.

Presently there are two ways for metadata viewing presets (a.k.a. tagsets) to become defined:

1. Plugin.
2. User edited lua text file (.lrtemplate) placed in 'Metadata Field Lists' folder in with Lightroom presets (win 7: C:\Users\{You}\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom).

These methods are good enough for me, but I'm a programmer, and the second method is not even documented - not good enough for most folks.

I'd like to suggest the tagset dropdown menu (Metadata section in Library module's right panel) be augmented with items:

- Add Preset
- Delete Preset
- Edit Preset

or something like that, so normal users could define and maintain metadata viewing presets too.

Note: I'm *not* talking about the metadata presets for *applying* metadata - I'm talking about the *other* one for viewing metadata subsets.

If you would like to be able to customize what is displayed in the right-hand library panel in the 'Metadata' section, then click the '+1' button at the top of this page.

PS - I could care less about this feature. The only reason I brought it up is I get *tons* of people asking me how to customize the metadata info view... - I already know how, but there are no instructions in the Lightroom doc that I am aware of, and without being a programmer, its a real challenge...
