Is Photoshop Elements 8 compatible with OS X Mountain Lion?

At the moment I don't want to upgrade to Elements 10, so I wonder if my good old Photoshop Elements 8 is compatible with OS X Mountain Lion.

It should work -- at least I haven't heard any reports saying otherwise -- Let us know if you run into any trouble

Same situation for me -- Photoshop Elements 8 on its DVD will not complete the install process but gets stuck scanning my system. Using OS X Mountain Lion. Tried numerous times.
