Photoshop/Elements: How can I make a photo black and white with one object in color?
I have a picture of my daughter that id like to make black and white with only her eyes in blue. How can i do this?

In Photoshop, you can use a Black & White adjustment layer, and then simply mask out the eyes (so that the adjustment layer doesn't effect that region, thus leaving the eyes blue). You can also use the Hue/Saturation adjustment layer as well (move the Saturation slider all the way to the left).
If you are using Photoshop Elements, the second option is the only one available to you (as far as adjustment layers is concerned).
In Lightroom, this is a bit more difficult, as you have use the Adjustment Brush and mask in everything but the eyes.
There are many more techniques than these, but this should be a good start.

In any version of Photoshop Elements starting with PSE7, you could use one of the B$W Presets of the Smart Brush Tool.

I just got this, when I was looking around, I found a spot where you could highlight one item in a b&w photo, to make it stand out. I have no idea where I found it.
