Can I change the privacy setting for my Group Albums on Photoshop.com?

Group Albums can be either Shared or Private. If you’re the owner of a Group Album, you can change its privacy setting:

1. Right-click (Windows) or Ctrl-click (Mac OS) the Group Album in My Library of the Photoshop Express Organizer.


2. Choose either Shared or Private from the pop-up menu.

If I upload pictures for an event, can those that participated in the event gain access to download the images if I give permission?

Can I share my pics or videos with limited audience? For example I send invitation to some members of family or friends and I want to see them only some pics or movie but not all of them. Is this possible ?

Hi Rob,

You can set the privacy level of your album (Private, Semi Private, and Public). If I have to restrict people from viewing all of my photos, then I would create a private album and add those photos in it which I want to share with them. Later, you can share the private album with your friends and family by sending them email invitation. Here is the workflow for setting an Album Private:

1. Login to photoshop.com account and go to library
2. Go to the existing album or create new one
3. Click on the little gear icon next to the album name
4. Change the permissions to "private" in Album properties dialog (Uncheck "Also Share on Photoshop.com")
5. Done

Now, you can share this album privately with your friends by sending email invitation. Let me know if you need assistance in sending email.
